Privacy Policy

TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TEN PERCENT COFFEE") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to promptly and smoothly handle related complaints.
○ This Privacy Policy shall be effective from November 8, 2021.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TEN PERCENT COFFEE") processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purposes other than those specified below. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures, including obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, will be taken.

Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying membership registration intent, maintaining and managing membership status, and preventing fraudulent use of services.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

① TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information). Personal information is provided to third parties only in cases falling under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as when the consent of the data subject has been obtained or when required by applicable laws.
② The processing and retention periods of each category of personal information are as follows.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

① TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information). Personal information is provided to third parties only when the consent of the data subject has been obtained or when required under applicable laws, including Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
② TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. provides personal information to third parties as follows.

② When entering into an entrustment agreement, TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. specifies matters including the prohibition of processing personal information beyond the purpose of entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of processors, and liability for damages in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act. TEN PERCENT COFFEE also supervises whether the entrusted party safely processes personal information.

③ If the details of entrusted tasks or the entrusted party change, such changes will be disclosed without delay through this Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them)

① Data subjects may exercise their rights to request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time with respect to TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd.

② Requests for exercising rights under Paragraph 1 may be submitted in writing, by e-mail, fax, or other methods in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act. TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. will take necessary actions without delay.

③ Rights under Paragraph 1 may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In such cases, a power of attorney pursuant to Form No. 11 of the "Notification on Methods of Processing Personal Information (No. 2020-7)" must be submitted.

④ Requests for access to personal information or suspension of processing may be restricted pursuant to Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

⑤ Requests for correction or deletion of personal information cannot be accepted if such information is required to be collected under other laws or regulations.

⑥ TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. verifies whether the person making a request for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing is the data subject or a legitimate representative.

Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)

① TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. processes the following personal information items.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

② If personal information must be retained according to other laws even after the retention period agreed upon by the data subject has expired or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal information will be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different storage location.

Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information)

TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.

TEN PERCENT COFFEE implements necessary access control measures by granting, modifying, and removing access permissions to the database systems that process personal information. External unauthorized access is also controlled through intrusion prevention systems.

Article 9 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Devices for Personal Information)

① TEN PERCENT COFFEE Co., Ltd. uses "cookies" that store and retrieve usage information periodically in order to provide customized services to users.
